Drewy, Kurt Blanksby was holding a purple slider when he demonstrated correct rigging of sp's onto jigs at the Breammaster information night and he mentioned that it was a new sp not yet in stores and to keep an eye out for them but I couldn't get a good look at it maybe it was the one you've found.

Slider Whirlie Bee

These are slider Whirly Bee's. They are .13oz and have a length of 2.5" long. They have it available in 18 colors. It is very popular with Smallmouth Bass anglers. It works real well as a drop bait. Here is a picture of there smaller version called the Charlie Bee. It comes in both 1/32oz and 1/16oz jig heads. It works well as a slow rolled swim type bait. Here is a link to Charlie Brewers web site. https://www.fishingworld.com/Slider/...53346969359029

nice, they look great as well, l got to try these on the breams, the only thing that could be wrong with them is you might have to move them to fast, so when the fishing is a bit shut down they might be a bit quick for the fish.

Slider are about 5 years behind the times, I started making these in 2000. The one in the picture is on a 1/16th head, with a gold micro colorado blade. I used this head in the hawkesbury today running along the side of the racks and although the fishing was slow, it still produced some decent fish.
