Daiwa Theory

hey guys and girls,

the takle store i work in has been sellin daiwa's latest threadline, 'theory', for a few months now, with no consumer complaints thus far.

i was just wondering if any of u guys fish with these reels and what your opinion on them is

mate i got one for christmas from the us for 148 bucks express post and i think its awesome its got the air bail smooth as very nice drag and good lookin as well and correct me if im wrong but im pretty sure it is the the exact same as the capricorn just different colour but yeh i think ther awesome

heya addict, ive used the theory on my mates rod a cupla time and it was ok but not great, it was released in australia in o2 i think,u would be betta off with the luvias,jmo

for the price they are excellent reels. I have both a Capricorna nd Theory and the only difference besides the colour is one less ball bearing on the thoery and the drag nob is slightly different.

thanks for your input fellas. i think it was brought out when Daiwa realised that there was a big gap in reel prices from the 130 odd dollar kastors to the 330 odd dollar capricorns, so they came up with somethin in between out of slightly cheaper materials and one less bearing to fill the gap. they feel prety nice and are good value for money, but yeah fellow bream addict i wouldn't mind a luvias

They are not new. they have been around for nearly a year now, i've had mine for 8 months, they are just a capricorn, less one bearing,
