Panfish Assassins
I use these for crappie and the American Bream all the time. They have a great action, I rig mine on a 1/16oz lead head with a size 4 hook. Cast and slow steady retrieve works very well as does a lift and drop. The tail takes very little motion to make it work. I am sure in the right color it would work for your Bream. I know very little of your fish but the lure works very well here as a baitfish imitation. Hope it helps. The lure is fairly tough too. It should last more then a few fish.

thanks brian, i was half expecting you to reply first as you and i have a similar background
I grew up fishing for Black bass and bluegill in zimbabwe so Im used to very different fishing techniques and lures, this breaming takes some getting used to i tell ya! theyre about 10 times harder to trick into biting than a bass, but ive been working at using my knowledge of bassing into catching these guys, such as presentation and knowing what makes a spot hold fish.
