SP's with berley

Has anyone tried flicking SP's within a berley trail?

yeh i just started using berley last weekend and to be honest I did worse than when I didn't use berley. I'm sure there is an advantage to using it, it just must have been one of those days.

What type of berley does everyone recommend? I was using the ground ultrabite stuff and found I couldn't mould it into a ball as it would just break up when I threw it.

Bread crumbs with flavourings...strawberry essence, vanilla essence or tuna oil depnding on the fish I'm targetting...plus add little bit of the bait I'm using at the time.

Add sufficient water and mix well so you can mould it into relatively firm balls.

Then bung it in.

You can add a little more water to have the berley ball sink to the bottom and break up, or a little less for it to break up on the surface.
