After reading your posts both here and on hotbites saying you wanted to make amends for your mistakes .... I would have thought it unwise to start your post by rubbing in the fact you have holidays and we don't. Now from the other perspective. I work and you don't therefore I have more money to spend on Breamin. I might have to work but I get to play with more toys Oh and by the way I have the sicstik 1-3kg 7' it's a great rod.

To be honest, I think a light hearted post has been taken the wrong way by a few. I've had to delete a post by a certain person yet again, and I will not do it again. Lighten up guys.
On the REAL subject. FB, what do you plan on using the rod for? HB or SP, I find the feel of the 1-3 more suited to SP fishing, that's all. JMO.

The fish looks legal so leave it alone Muzz. We don't want to start the purist debate again. Try and keep the thread focused.
Flathead; I have 6'6" sik stic 1-3kg for soft plastic work and am pretty happy with it (apart from snapping three tips). I find it good for smaller HB's too. BTW $80 is good value for mark's rod - go for it |

stu, just curious but how have you managed to snap 3 sic stiks? i have had my 1-3kg 6'6 for about half a year now, and i have abused it to the max (casting live yellowtail with it, shoving it into a crack in a jetty and then hooking a big bream only to have the line snap and the rod hit the jetty, hitting it into trees while riding, high sticking, wacking it into poles etc etc) and it hasnt snapped yet
flatheadboy- go the 1-3kg, great allrounder rod |
