Are you interested in attending a Bream Basic Workshop?

Back in early December, I asked BM if they were thinking of running another Bream Basic Workshop. Bear said, that if there is enough interest, then he will see what he can do.

At that time, only 7 people who expressed interest (d_golem, Hooked, Flathead Boy, Big Pete, Becker 11, Challenge Queen and Breamdreamer). This is insufficient for BM to even bother thinking about it. Being the new year, I am posting again with the hope there will be others interested? I really want to attend such a course to see if what I am doing is right, if there is a better way, etc etc.

To give you some idea, the basic workshop they had previously consisted of:-

Basic knots
Replacing trebles
Tuning lures
Rigging soft plastics
Retrieval techniques
Non-boater basics (ie. operating Minn Kota's, netting bream etc.)

It was attended by people who were already catching bream but who wanted to learn more. So it is not really just for beginners. Would be nice if there is another basic course to start the new year, and will be good publicity for the new magazine too.

Sounds like I am into advertising for BM Sorry, BM guys, but I am real keen and desperate. Still annoyed that I missed the one in Feb 2004.

We now have 9 (10 with Big Pete's wife ) on the list but think that won't be good enough for Bear when he sees this The workshop that Warren ran in Feb 2004, they had about 16 people who attended. Why don't you blokes get your wife/girlfriend interested in lure fishing. Take her out a few times then see if she will put her name down here? This workshop (if it comes through) rarely happens, don't miss it.

I know for a fact there are more of these workshops coming but the guys have been busy with the shop and the mag. They are all taking some needed time of to fish but when they come back the ball will be rolling.
90% of the contributors are either fishing the Blackwood or Albany so there really isnt any stress untill they start getting back over the next few days.
I would say there will be one in the next week or 2 and Im assuming it will be a WABREAM rundown for those wanting to be tournament anglers.
Then Kurt, Ira, Bear, Ian, Richo etc will be doing others after that.

Be patient and get ready to enjoy the shows that are coming

Thanks for the interest again guys, and we are listening. As Bubba said, we're concentrating on the up coming comp which means we'll try and squeeze a few workshops in. Keep the interest coming people and we'll post more when we're ready.

Here's to a HUGE 2005.

Thanks for listening to our needs Bear and BM guys, muchly appreciated. And now with your "go ahead guys" authority, I am sure we will start to get more interest. Thanks muchly.

Whenever this workshop does come through, I reckon we should all line up and give Bear a real big squeeze of a Bear Hug!

Cheers

Now that the silly season is slowing a little, we`ll try and get something organised, sort a date out etc and then post some details.

cheers
