Biomaster or capricorn?

I'm either going to get a Biomaster (assuming I can find one) or a Capricorn when I go to singapore next week. The Biomaster is apparently a more finesse reel than the Capricorn but since not many people own one, i can't be too sure.

Any thoughts?

I will second that.

They are very good.

I would watch the warranty though as they might not be valid if not bought in australia.

Saying this I haven't felt the biomaster. If things are cheaper over there, maybe worth getting a TD-A or TD-Z?

id definatly get the biomaster. it lays the line alot better than the capricorn and has a nicer drag in my opinion.

Ball bearings don't always matter, depends on the quality of them. the capricorn has fewer than my okuma but runs smoother.

Dantheman- empty your pm's so i can reply

it depends what you ware fishing for, i would use the capricorn on a heavier rod (2-4kg, 3-5kg etc) because it is a heavier reel. I couldnt decide between the biomaster and the capricorn, so I bought both. Cappyfor my 2-4kg rod and bio for my 1-3kg rod.

I've got a cappy 1500 on my 7'0 1-3kg sicstik pro and it is perfectly balanced. I think a lighter reel would actually unbalance the rod a bit.

have any of the guys who chose the capricirn actually used the biomaster?
Im not worried about the warranty because my dad works in Singapore so I can just send him the reel if something is wrong.
And just for the record I also have a 1-3kg 7 foot sic stik

ive got a sic stik 6'6 1-3kg and i think the capricorn 2000 is a bit to heavy for it
i think the biomaster is more well balanced on it
