well there crap, but if u can't afford nething better there not too bad of a stick, fugi guides, there is a lighter one and a heavy one that we had in the shop, the heavier felt nicer, but at 95 bucks there not too bad if ur looking for a rod in that pricerange have a look at the berkley dropshot rods, there a good stick also for 95bucks hope this helps, greg

mmm there pretty bad
ive got a 6'6 in the lighter model. its fine for trashing and playing javelin. nah the are fine for 80 or so bucks. |

thats cause u use kasters, cappys, procaster z baitcatsters and spin stiks don't get me wrong daiwa are awsome, just no that rod, cheak out the berkly dropshot tho

Remember its not always the name in a rod. Its what feels comfortable and is within your budget and requirements.
Feel a few rods around that price bracket and I reckon they are pretty similar. Take in your reel and feel which one has a better grip, and is weighted to balance your reel when you hold it as if you were going to cast. Take time in choosing what you want and you will be pleased with your decision. I use the Heartland IM6 rod and a capricorn reel. Nothing too flash but it does exactly what in need it to do. I will be using it in the comps next year and may consider buying another identical outfit as a backup rod. At the end of the day you still need plenty of lures to actually catch the fish with... |
