matrix 27 or lowrance x125?

I think i have reduced my purchase down to these 2 sounders. I can get both units for approximately the same price so that doesnt help my decision.

Any feedback would be great

Sounds like me, Im tossing up between a Matrix x67 or a Lowrance x135, I did see a Matixx10 last weekend and thought it went OK.....

I spoke to someone recently who said he`d pick the larger screen over colour, but had previously said the opposite...... So im pretty sure i`ll go the Lowrance as Ive seen it on a mates boat and it looks alright, Im mainly after depth, temp and speed, anything else is a bonus....... Try downloading fro mthe sites and have a fiddle with them.

So really I havnt been able to help I suppose........ Im still cant make a final decision.

Richo, I was told when i was looking at sounders that a colour sounder would be to hard to read on an open boat. Dont know if this is true or false but that made me go for the matrix 35. If u get a colour sounder let us now if u can read it ok on ya boat.

I haven'e really looked at the Matrix but I just fitted a x125 to the new boat and am very happy with it.

For me its all about the pixels. 480 x 480 you can't go wrong
