Luvias or Certate

Can't decide which to get the Luvias or the Certate. It will be matched to my HL-Z Saegake Hama special. Anyone want to help me choose? I'm looking at getting one in the 2000 size to increase my fishing options.

I don't think you would be dissappointed with either NIZ.

I got a Certate 2500 a week ago which I havn't even spooled yet but it looks and fells like it belongs on my Struddy.
I just like looking at it!

Certate 2000
4.8 235g 4.0kg
8lb(0.235mm)-150m
12lb(0.285mm)-100m 9/1

DAIWA LUVIAS 2000
4.9 220 4kg
8lb/165yds 0.235mm/150m 6/1

To sum that up all the same in stats except

Luvias 15g lighter

Certate 3 more ball bearings

I have a Luvias 1500 on my Saegake and love the outfit...
Pukka has a Certate 2000 on his Saegake and loves the outfit...

You can't go wrong either way.

I have a certate 2000 match with Kistle LTA and I love it. If you got $$$$ go for the certate.

thx for the replies guys. Looks like I will go with the Certate as they also have different spool options available unlike the Luvias. On the other hand though if I come across a good deal on a Luvias I will snap it up quick smart.

If anyone is thinking about selling their Certate or Luvias 1500/2000 drop me a pm.

What do you mean by "different spool options"?
There's different sppols available for the Luvias...

When do you want the reel? I'm thinking of upgrading to Certates, so I may be able to offload a Luvias 1500 cheap.

I mean the finesse spools. To my knowledge I thought that the 2006 Luvias spool was not compaitble with the 2000. I could be wrong though.

I am after a reel ASAP so when you decide to offload the Luvias drop me a line and I will buy it. Unless of course I pick one up already.
