long or short
hey guys
ive ordered a 395 proline in the short shaft model should i have ordered a long shaft? it will be 97% river and only out in the ocean on perfect days. if i ring them up today i might be able to change it to long shaft what does everyone think Zac |

long
i think long shaft would be the best option, the motors are easy to get and the boat is only 5 cm off 4m, and i dont think long shaft effects the depth the boat sits in the water,

I have been loooking at a 385 quinnie explorer, long shaft gives you 5 inches more freeboard, with minimal extra cost to the motor! Why wouldn't you go for it ? I can't see any disadvantage!
