Long finesse rod

Hi Guys...

Been looking for a 1-3kg, or there abouts, rod for a bit of finesse work. I am looking at maybe a 7' rod. I was thinking about grabbing a BD flats ranger but a 1 piece rod does not suit my needs. So any other brands doing the same kinda deal at the moment?

...Cheers

Shane

The breambuster Ultra-finesse is 7'6" and 2 pieces, certainly worth looking at. DaveW raves about this rod better then anyone, so could be worth a PM with any questions but he's probably away already at the GF.

Other (cheaper) options would be a Loomis GL3 842-2, Struddy TPS 1-3kg (I'm pretty sure I have this in a 2 piece...), Sic Stik Pro, or possibly some of the 2 piece HL-Z's.

Next step down the price ladder would be a Shimano, GL2 or Daiwa Procaster, but I haven't tried any of these.

Id definitly consider the 1-3 flats ranger with the lil butt that Cindy has for sale, it is an absolute bargin on special at the moment with CPlus guides, Ive been fighting myself all week from getting it.

cheers

It's a 1 piece no good for me unless I hang my arm out the car holding on to it while driving to my spot to fish. Otherwise I would of snapped it up.

The 1 pc Flats Ranger 1-3kg has been sold.

Shane,
The other option for you is the 7ft Reaper as it is a 2 pc finesse rod as well.

Cheers,
Cindy
