Thanks breamlessfool, had a good talk to the guys at the local tackle shop. They were saying it's probably the best buy in it's priceline. Always good when ya got good guys at the local. Been looking heaps trying to make a decision. Not easy

hey timmah

i own a 1000 and its a great reel, as breamlessfool ive never had a problem with it

they are a great buy (one of the best in that price bracket)

also its worth a look at the daiwa capricorn 1500
this reel has daiwa's air bail and is a dream to fish with

good luck choosing a reel

Thanks guys i tell a ya it's still going to be hard to choose. I might have to buy a cappy and a stradic. At least i have it narrowed down to two. It's always good to get feed back from other people. Helps ya make a choice still very hard.
