Graphene Rods?

Dassi a British based manufacturer released the world's first graphene road bike frame July last year. Current feathery light carbon frames weigh ~700 g, but Dassi believe they can make theirs significantly stronger (and conduct electricity) for half the weight with graphene mixed in with the pre peg.

Are there any whispers of graphene use in fishing rods? Who's going to bring one out first (NFC, Megabass)? Its only a matter of time.. It'll mean thinner and lighter rods that are significantly more durable as well
