Pallinup river at the moment
Hi all from down south. I have the opportunity to come down for a day bream fishing this week end and Pallinup river is on the card. But my fishing buddy and I have never fished it before. So if you could give us any pointers on where to launch our boat and where to find some decent bream at this time of the year would be appreciate.

This time of the year I would not bother with Paperbark rd, unless you are after an adventure it is best never gone down, Millers Pt Rd is the go and launch at the end, fishing will depend on the water levels, I would imagine it has broken its bank but levels may still be up high enough to fish well. Unfortunately it is just a matter of having a go each time, will not take you long to find the fish no matter what the water is like.
Use caution if you have never been there before, go slow if you are in a boat as the worm bombies / reefs in the middle of no where in the river when the water is up will get you every time. The estuary has never really fired for me but could be worth a shot if the water is really low. Enjoy.

Thank for the informations. Sure will make getting there easier taking the right trac. And yes I remember fishing it 4 or 5 years ago with Chris hill. After fishing my first comp at Bremer Bay. And first time using hard body lure and got my first bream there too. How I forgot that if fished Pallinup it's got me. I think the name never stuck. But I remember those reefs you're talking about and the swarm of mosquitos. And the thick fog early that morning. Couldn't see the bow of the boat. But sadly we never saw a bream either that day. More skilled now we should manage a few I'm sure.
