30k for a bass boat

I'm currently in the market for a bass boat was wondering do you think you could get a good tournament boat secondhand for $30 000 or do I need to spend more. I just can't find much out there atm

There is heaps around for that sort of coin if your prepared to travel south to pick up the vessel.

"Bobby bass" was only talking about selling his on here a week or 2 ago for somewhere in the 20's.

there was a nice skeeter zx190(?) for auction yesterday on the goldcoast. unsure what it went for?

what size are you after? Something smaller or something larger? Ive seen a few smaller ones recently, josh at skeeter boats has a triton 175 for 28k at the moment and there are a couple of little attack boats with 115s on them for sale on gumtree. 30k will get you a great boat!

That's basically what I paid for my setup. 2008 model Stratos 285 proxl. 150hp optimax with decent sounders and a power pole. It's a good middle ground IMO. Big enough (18/19ft) but not massive, can do 90-100kph which is generally enough. You can spend more and go all out 200-250hp 21ft long etc... but your looking at 40-50k or more depending on age. The main benifits are they are obviously faster and handle the chop a little better.

I've been in a few stratos 285 and they are a great boat. I would deffently recomend them and also the nitro Z7. I haven't been in a skeeter 190 but I imagine they are similar. You could possibly put a WTB add on tournament boat sales.

Is 30k enough for bream? Lolz
#whereidratherbe

Nah, I respect it, but I defiantly don't get it. What do they offer more than big stuff? (This is not targeted at people who can't afford 'game')

I don't understand the point of this post. And what it's got to do with someone wanting a bass/tournament style boat? Please explain?
