Old skeeter

Hi just wondering has anyone gone down the path of buying an old skeeter, basscat,stratos, ranger or similar and doing them up? I'm thinking of doing it but wondered if others have or no of guys who have and if it was a succeful project

Im currently doing a 95mdl ranger 354v have totally stripped extending the deck and replacing everything depending on the outboard i go for its not a cheap project .but the boat will be exactly what i want.
