Im thinking if you wanted to buy the rod on the cheap and then flog it on here to make a quick buck then i think it was a mistake to, a) ask what others think its value was implying that you yourself were actually interested in the rod and then, b) exclaim that you got it for a bargain. Some people might be reluctant to pay overs on something they know you'd just bought for a "bargain". Good luck with the sale though!

Agree with manno wholeheartly.

And OP, if you think you just paid peanuts for a $600 rod you are very much mistaken. Firstly the post which you've deleted (correct me if I'm wrong, I can't be bothered to look for that post)did not have this figure anywhere. The numbers provided were mostly around the 3-400 mark and make no mistake pixy rods can be had for a lot less than 300. And good luck with the sale

Kevin, the post I deleted had no price mentioned as shown in manno's post. I deleted that myself as I too thought it was in bad form. The rod is NOT for sale. You have no idea what I paid and no post except nagz has mentioned any prices that I have seen. I personally thought the $600 mark was a bit rich, considering Daiwa used to loan them out to people to use in the videos that I have seen. Value and cost are very different and what to you is an expensive (or cheap) rod will be different for others. The Pixy has already caught a number of goldens and performed up to expectations. Tight lines.

Fact; I never saw your post. I presume it was deleted by the site admin before I saw it.

That's weird. Site admin must've accidentally deleted a few posts where knowledgeable site members kindly offered great advice on the value of those pixy rods. Either way enjoy the 600 dollars rod.

I think you may be talking about a deleted "Thread" not a deleted "Post" hence the confusion here.
