Bait casters

why doesnt anybody use bait casters??

arnt they more accurate. I know thier hard to use but if u get good with them are they better than the spinners.

Just wondering

I love using baitcasters!
I find there extremely acurate and look sexy

People use them on Bream but only to chuck out hard bodies because small softplastics are to light and cause birds nests when yo cast into the wind.

very light HB is also hard to cast with most baitcaster........
but I agree with you Nath... big HB is nice to cast with baitcaster... and you can get longer distance too......and still be accurate..

so with all the technology out there they still havent made one that can cast small lures.

thats sad.

If any of the big brands are reading this post this could be a good way to make even more money

Mish, there is a lite lure baitcaster like the Daiwa Pixy, but they're only for freshwater........

I like both spinning and baitcast reel.. I think they're both good for the right purpose............

I thought I was casting the lipless lure with my BD Softbait TE 7' (Bear you know the one.........) then I start chucking the same lure out with the BD JigCast TE and manage to belt it out a heck of a lot longer........ Great for working on flats...........

Great looking reel

They are a great reel and I would say the best looking baitcaster on the market !
(I will probably have all the Daiwa Boys gunnin for me again)
In the right hands I know you are right but when the eggys are as good as they are these days I will leave them to the dedicated .

Bit of Both

I'll stick to my 2500 Shimano eggys for breamin' and take the chronarch for my barra fishin'. I love using all sorts of reels and have been known to try and cast my live squid setup for kings with my Penn 50VSW Not real successful with that one though

Woody......When is the Steve Wood tackle barn gonna open...wait wait what do you know it as, oh thats right, your garage!
