Anyone used a shimano cranx nano 762

Just wondered if anyone has had a go with this rod. I'm after a rod
purely for casting poppers around 5grams when standing in the shallows
targeting whiting on the flats. I was about to get a lox yoshi 7'6" when I saw this one at beeeceeeeffff which had a pretty similar feel (but about $60 less than the lox). Just wondered if anyone has tried one out and how it went with casting distance.
