While being at a location that sported plenty of space however little space that was secure I needed a spot to store my rods and reels. The walk in wardrobe acted as a strong box of sorts for the gear that passed through my hands and my own gear to stay out of kids hands and the vacuum cleaner and other weekly cleaning mishaps.

Anyhow depending on how precise you are and what rods you store length and grip thickness wise you could get a whole arsenal in behind a standard closet door or entry door to a room etc.

What I used was the 3M Clear hanging hooks with the easy peel function to be able to remove when needed. Now some of you will question whether the guides are strong enough to support the rods weight - simply yes. Otherwise I wouldnt have done it myself. I noticed no deflection even with the micro-guides etc. If you have problematic micro-guides eg: tiyg BFS type, you can whittle the plastic hook tip down to a sharp point which will hold the eyelet.

In my haste to install these hooks I didnt really take time to think to serialise the rods by length or type / rating etc... You could put them up in series of weight or length etc to make selection easier and putting them back a sinch. And it would be easier to have the butts of the rods right to the bottom of the skirting so that you have max room for the tip's or so that they are hidden behind the door when open.

P.s. keep in mind the door handle - that you dont put a rod near where it nears the wall...

Yeh simple trade, I kicked the dog and cat outside and brought the fishing gear inside...

Nobody has time for chewing / scratching things inside the house / garage...
