rod for branzino

Just purchased myself a branzino 3000 and am looking for a stick to put it on, i have read the event jew thread but am looking for something that would match this reel perfectly, has seen that G has his on a power junkie so thats an option.

Am using mostly for jews but will also be on the reds

I have mine matched to a
Heartland 702MLRS-AGS14

Won't get much better unless you go custom really.

Just curious what are you thoughts of using the reel for light jigging for Kingie?
It such a nice reel and i don't really want to abuse it !

Ive muscled kings to 15kg on mine in shallow water i have confidence in this reel working over even bigger fish to be honest. I havent got the chance but it would do the job no problem on jelly bean yellowfin and alike.

Could look at something like a 10-20lb or the 12-20lb dobyns champion. 7 ft the 12-20lb cast up to 40 grams so can throw bigger top waters and vibes if you like. I regularly throw 1 oz storm vibes on mine that I have matched up with a 3000 certate. Should be able to knock over any jew you come across with it. And would be great for turning a big snapper away from structure. IMO definetly worth considering.
