If you could stretch your budget a leetle bit you can get a black label v2, 2-4kg but 610 instead of 7, unless you want to go for a 1 piece.

Very nice rods for the price.

Another close match would be generation blacks. Around $139.

The daiwa air edge seem good value for money, and they feel like a light and crisp rod.

Agree! I have a 2-4kg 2 piece knocking around my collection as an option when a 2 piece is more practical and for $120 odd bucks it is awesome. I use it quite a bit alongside some rods worth much more and it is great.

There's also some impressive 7 footers in the NS blackhole range.
Fuji k's and a sweet hard rod case under $200

Yea nothing about officially extra fast but certainly fast.
Trouble is I think in that price bracket riods don't really usually claim to be a certain action.

The gen blacks are definitely action specific at that price.
The "wicked weasel", "albino" and "red trauma centre" are definitely xfast but then you don't like micro guides by the looks!...

Maybe the majorcraft range? But I'm not familiar with them

Not sure if you are interested in an OS purchase but have a look in the link, though you may find most are micro guides.

Glasses maybe....lol.

Gen black albino is extra fast and 1-4kg. Sounds about perfect except for the micro guides haha!
