Matching sustain FG 1000
Hi guys
I just wanted to get some opinions for rods that I can match my sustain FG 1000 with... Will probably be flicking a lot of soft plastics ... Probably don't want to go much over 250$ but will just see....

I have a Stradic 1000Fj (same reel bar for a few little things) running 2lb Fireline Exceed, with a Pflueger Patriarch XTR 1-3kg which I got for around $100 new. I find it a good mix of top quality components (Fuji seat and Sic guides - cant stress the importance of good quality components), really nice blank and all round basics.
If you can find them on sale or what not around the traps get one and invest some money into line and lures.

13 OMEN BLACK would suit nicely. Checkout their site as there's a couple of bream models specifically designed for plastics. Will leave a fair chunk of change in your pocket as well.
I run my Sustain on an ENVY but they are a little bit over your price range.

Have a look at the ns hurricane ones micro s-702L or s-702UL great rods for plastics and harbodies with a good action and 7 foot 2 piece. They also include a hard rod case.

Look at the phenix line the k2's are fantastic also the elixers are nice and the m1's.
