Fuji EZ Hook Keeper

Just bought 2 of these to see how they go...come in handy a lot I think on the rods that don't have 1.

Anyone else bought and use these?

I bought some off the same person on ebay. They were the black ones in the same size and came as a pair for about the same price. Really useful and cheap.

Depends on a few variables but yes time to time line does get caught on it.

Put it on the split grip section no chance as long as your rod holder suits

They last for a while you just buy new o ring rubbers when they break.

I run them however spray a little CRC 808 silicone spray on the o ring and on the part where the o ring wraps around, this also helps with the flip up and down action.

Haven't had a o ring snap yet. You could substitute it with a silicone o ring when the black one snaps, that'll last longer with high UV situation.

I run one on every rod and couldn't do without it. It stops you hanging lures off guides or off your reel which I think we have all done before.

Guides are all in much better nick now.

A must have if you don't have a hook keeper built in.
I've never had a line catch on mine and its nice to have my guides hook free.

You can flip them over so the line doesn't get tangled when not in use tho I haven't had an issue either way. Beats a built in holder as they hold your lure further from the blank so no more scratched blanks.
