Basspara?

Looking at a basspara as a cheap new rod. Just getting another combo for ripping fish. After a nice, fast tapered and pretty much a rape stick. Just asking on people experiences with bassparas. Any other recommendations? Tossing up between that and a 13 omen. Must be under 6'5"

Hands down the basspara is better IMO. Like I was saying lastnight they are so cheap from plat but such nice rods. Mine got so many blue lips and never had any dramas with it untill it snapped. The 4-10lb omen is too heavy for casting smaller stuff.

I think I have some gopro footage of a 38 that I caught on the basspara, it loads up so nicely! If I can find it I'll send it to you.

I've got the 7ft version.
Only used it a couple of times but it casts well, has plenty of power and is really comfortable to use.

Nothing confusing about that. The operative word in the sentence is 'till'.

4-8lb would more suit you james, I was casting 1/32oz with it fine and it still had enough grunt to drag bream backwards

Hi Guys

Does anyone know how long the butt is compared to a Daiwa Generation Black? I have an Itchy Twitchy and it's a great little rod for the price but the butt is just a tad too long for my liking. Does the Basspara have a shorter butt than the Gen Black's?

Cheers
Col

I own a Pinster but dont hav it here to make a compare. My Basspara 702ML butt length is around 30cm from the middle of reel seat. Basspara butt length is a little but longer than the Generation Black one I reckon
