Twisted Certate.

Pulled this out today to do some respooling, put it on a rod and noticed it wasn't sitting straight, first thought was reel seat but no.

Hasn't been dropped, stood on or bumped hard, has just sat in storage for a while.

Anyone seen this before?

No, not all it has been sitting on a shelf by itself with nothing heavy on or near it.

Also there are no paint marks or cracks on the stem where it's twisted at all.

It all operates fine and is still smooth as, its just the stem/ reel seat that has somehow twisted.

What fish were you chasing the last time you used it ? .
I've had it happen but only when trying to make the reel do something it wasn't designed for and a heavy drag .

Only ever spooled with .6 toray radius which is 10lb and used on a 201 or 203 for bream, ting, flatties etc, so no not overloaded beyond its capabilities.

Does all the paint off the reel seat give any clues?
It's been forced or sat on? Maybe it's happened slowly over time without noticing?

Is it possible a family member may have knocked it off the shelf and just put it back, but I can't think of anything else .
