New from Canberra

Hey guys, found myself spending a bit of time on the site so thought I better join up!
New to bream fishing but not fishing in general.Done most of my fishing out of a yak chasing natives, mainly dedicated to Murray cod for the last few years but just upgraded to a boat so keen to get amongst some bream

Hey mate welcome to the site! I would head to Canberra from Sydney with the family to chase natives over there! Sadly all we would catch were Redfin and carp! Any spots you recommend there mate??

Hi Jamie, I'm in Canberra too. My favourite spots are Tuross and Mallacoota estuaries. Both easy drives from Canberra. All the best.

Just About all water in and around Canberra hold cod, I guess it's a bit like bream fishing, Patients, patients and then more patients. They hold in tight against structure and you've got to hit them on the head on the cast. In saying that any rockwall or weed bank you'll find them. Goodluck

Welcome to BreamMaster mate.
Cod and bream, my two favourite species of fish.
