Well I think most trout rods have a tubular tip, which is better for hards in my opinion. And solid tipped rods are better for soft plastics.

Solid tips easily flex (more sensitive & comfier for SP fishing), while tubular tips don't flex as much which makes it comfier for HB fishing.

The Volkey is a higher range/model than the nextino and a fair bit more expensive
