Rod for a luvias 2004
Well today I just bought another reel (time for a tackle clear out I think!) and I have nothing to match it with. I'm after an all rounder rod. I mainly fish plastics and surface but I throw a hardbody ever now and then. The rod will be used for fishing heavy timber from a boat. Length wise, 6'2" to 6'9".
I'm thinking maybe majorcraft volkey? I'm trying to keep it around the $200 mark because I've been spending way to much on tackle the last few months. Any suggestions are good. Last edited by olistevo; 11-01-2015 at 04:16 AM. |

Volkey is nice. I have two. Wont find a better value fast action rod for plastics. If u use hardbodies a lot though its probably too fast.
there also the Daiwa harrier for 300. Fast action, good reviews and super bling. |
