Braid for a 1003? Pe0.4 or 0.6

Hey guys, thinking still about trying a 1003 on a 1-2kg rod for maximum fun.
I have pe 0.6 on my 2004 reels and it's great, should I try a .4 on a 1003??
If so suggest a good smooth braid as I like 8 strands!
Thanks for the help.
Matt

Hey matt, i know a lot might say you dont need to go any lower than .6 but i like .4! You might have trouble finding an 8 strand in .4 but theres still a few smooth ones out there. Maybe just not as true round like an 8 braid will be. Gekka super pe .4 8lb is round but not as smooth as others, probably similar to TD sensor. Emeraldas LD .4 9lb is smooth and pretty round and Emeraldas UVF 8braid in .5 is very smooth but not completely round. The LD comes in 210m spools too which i like.

Once you've tried 1003 you'll never go back...

Thanks silver and manno! Maybe I'll stick to .6 manno I'll ring some shops as it's not overly available online anywhere by the looks.
Perhaps not many using really specific type lines?
I'm only wondering if the finer line gives major advantages in casting on 1000 reels.

I have Nick Sais to thank for a major rethink of my bream fishing gear. His you tube video made me get into the 1000 size and it has made a big difference to my casting. Small, precise casts are so much easier with small light reels.
