Has anyone noticed how crap the range is now Shimano has taken over?
Mossybacks are a 6-8 week wait, the website is a joke!

Yeah, big push on the Aussie GL2 range which are no better than a lot of other run of the mill rods. All the quality stuff is hard to get now, bloody annoying, shame on Shimano.

Any of the USA range are available on special order if you are willing to wait. I've had a couple of non Aus stock rods ordered in through my local store via Shimano without any dramas.

Shimano takeover spelt the end.
I started trying daiwa rods and never looked back.

G loomis put all their updates into American bass orientated rods and components on the great blanks are from a decade ago.

Real shame I'll always have a soft spot for the glx dsr and tsr.
