Travel rods + India advice
G'day guys,
Next week I'm heading to India and of course I am taking a rod or two with me. I'll be travelling around a bit so need a travel rod - I was hoping to take one around 5-8kg and another around 2-4kg, but might only take one depending on space. I'll be fishing in the estuaries, off the rock walls, and possibly in some of the freshwater streams in the national parks. Has anyone got anything for sale that fits the bill? I've already maxed out my credit card paying for the absurdly expensive xmas-time flights hah, so my budget is only around $150 for each. Also, has anyone fished the east coast of India before? Cheers, Pat |

Crucis have the two travel rods you want. I had one for a while and it was a good, well made rod and excellent value for money.
If you want a look at them, go to www.fishin.com.au and look for Lox/Crucis. I couldn't make the direct link work. |

I sure have, they get some monster barra, jacks and threadies in the estuaries and heaps of GT's off the rock walls (even though I won't be geared up to tackle anything that substantial). Catching fish is just a bonus in a place like that though

Clear your inbox.
Daiwa generation black travel rods are good value for money and have a few models you can choose from. Armadale angling is usually ptetty good pricing wise as well. |
