Thumbs up Shimano's Servicing Department!

Like to give credit where credit's due and say a massive thankyou to Shimano Australia for fast and effective service!

I sent off one of my reels to Shimano's servicing department in NSW from WA on Monday morning to get a reel serviced. Today is Thursday morning and just received a phone call from a fella named Jacob to inform me that the reel is all finished and serviced and is once again running like brand new and that the reel has been sent off back to me!
The reel arrived on the Wednesday, serviced on Thursday and sent back off on the same day...Pretty good service..Fast and efficient !!!

What sort of reel Ant? and also did they sting you anything for the work, or just postage as would be expected.

I got a couple of Ci4 2500s that need a touch up and Rarenium 2500 that needs the same. More importantly though a Stella 4000 and 5000 will probably go in for a tune

cheers

Richo, the reel was a Stella mate.
They charged me $83.16. That includes all the parts, labour and postage.
Pretty happy with that!

I've sent off a couple of Ci4 Stradics to them in the past and came back smoother than when I originally brought them!
AtomicGrant has had a play with the reels and couldn't believe how smooth they were!

I hear ya pal, thought the same thing actually It must be all the use they got before 2 kiddies decided to invade my world.

They need a service before giving them to a 1 and 2 year old to play with

At least I will have a new 6000 soon that can sit around and not get used as well
