Shimano Fuwatoro
Interesting??...These arrived today - not too many jointed lures in the bream collection so looking forward to giving these a try.

Yeh...happy to give some feedback - weather a bit crapy here and some work commitments on, but might get a chance to wet them tomorrow.
Shimano obviously do some nice trout stuff for the JDM that we don't get a look at here

I love the way they move in the water, far more realistic to me. A slower pace seems to make all the difference

Jointed bream lures do go quite well.
Will be interesting to see how those single hooks go. Been having some good results on the jointed Imakatsu Baby Killer Bill Minnow.

Hey Sexton, no worries with those hooks - I'm a big fan of fine wire barbless singles. The hook up rate is good and the drop rate is negligible.
The huge advantage is far less damage to the fish with C&R. In fact, without wanting to get too controversial I think all 'sport fishing' needs to be done with barbless hooks - preferably singles at that

Are they the hooks they come with out of the box ?

They would be given they are a trout lire in Japan. Similar to the new stick bait Daiwa is releasing here, it comes with treble here but over in Japan they utilize a single hook.
Generally if trout lures are marketed here they change them to treble. OS however they may be singles for their trout fishing scene. I'm gathering these were bought in Japan
