duel hardcore x8

There's not much info on the web about this stuff so i thought id leave my impressions for the benefit of others i have this on a Stella, certate and Fuego now in pe1, .8 and .6 respectively.

The line is smooth and very strong for its diameter. It casts a bloody mile and zero knots. At about 40 bucks for a 200m spool from Japan I've nit come across any better. I've used the pe1 for maybe ten sessions now and it fits happily with the Stella/ megabass combo its on despite a moderate price tag

I've had braid from Shimano, Daiwa, ygk and sunline now and duel beats the lot for me. Awesome buy for anyone looking. 0.6 is seriously good bream line. Pe1 is perfect for snapper and jew

Nice mate, I like this line too. Great value 8-strand braid and I will be buying more of this line for spinning lure fishing and shore casting.

Duel has pretty much has me covered for mainline. I use x8 as above and I use Duel Armoured too. Armoured is a smooth hard coated line (like fireline) with the easiness of casting like mono, yet thin and strong as braid. I use it for my tatula and there is no dig-in or casting problems even with a full strength cast. I sound like I'm trying to sell it to you but it's just my opinion on how good it is.

Reckon I might try their leaders as well.

I agree. Hardcore X4, X8 and Armoured F+ are great products. I also have Super Smooth on some of my cheaper reels, too. Great value and similar to Armoured F+ but not as smooth. I use their QucikShot fluorocarbon line as well - not bad for the money.

They just brought out a new series of lines called X-Wire X8 and X4. Interested to find out what's the ACTUAL difference/s between these and the Hardcore.
