Advice on Rod and Reel Combo for Kids?

Hi everyone,

My niece has just turned 5 and I've been informed that I'm now allowed to get her a fishing rod and reel.

I dont want to get cheap cr@p but also dont want to spend too much on a rod just in case it gets broken. Looking for something in the 2-4kg for bream, herring, small tailor etc and i guess around 6 foot and as light as possible.

At a budget of around 100 bucks what are my options?

Thanks in advance

Sergio

Any half decent tackle store should be able to help you out mate.
Rovex have some cheap combo's ( 60-70 bucks ) that are great , not just for kids either
