Stella Fi

Hey guys looking into getting a new stella Fi but unsure on what size to get... i already use a 1000 exist... was leaning towards another 1000 in the stella or should i go up a size to maybe the 2500

The 2500 size is quite versatile as you can run a C2500 shallow spool good for FC as well as a C3000 spool which holds 270m PE 1.5 (max 9kg drag) so covering bream to inshore with the same reel. Downside is weight >200g.

I personally don't like using anything smaller than a 2500. Not that a 1000 isn't capable, I just think they feel too small to use.

You should look closely at the ratio's and retrieve rates between the 1000 and 2500 and make a decision. Those 2 reels are very different to use.
