daiwa caldia SHA
Anyone put one through it paces yet. How does it hold up after a flogging. Looking at a 2500 as a 15lb outfit

I bought one but found that the drag tightened its self when under pressure.
Took it back and cash adjusted for a Livius. |

Some grease (drag grease) on the rubber seal where it touches the spool would have stopped that, common issue with Daiwa waterproof drag.

I am surprised there are not more replies to this thread. On paper the Caldia SHA looks great, high speed lots of bearings all at an acceptable weight and price. I nearly purchased one myself but opted for a Certate as I did not need the speed.
Is there a reason they are not popular or widely used?
