kato braid

Just wanted to know if any one hs used kato braid it $30 looking at the 12lb for bass

i use that on my shimano casters good line for the price the 15 lb actually breaks much higher about 18 to 19 lb

I got given 1 of each size spool in the lower ratings for testing and binned them all within two weeks. I think i lost more $ in lures than the braid is worth

I tried out their mono and it's rubbish. Lost knot strength very quickly (tested on scales). A few different sizes as well so it wasn't just limited to one roll.

I would steer clear of Kato braid, for the money suffix or super pe would be better

Mate if you hook up to a decent fish and that crap Braid you bought packs it in you'll be kicking yourself for ages.
Mate you can save money and catch just as many fish by using cheaper rods and reels but always spend what you can afford on quality Braid it's the only link between you and the fish.
There's plenty of Braid recommendations on these pages.
