Rod to match a 10k Stella

Wondering on some rod recommendations on a rod to match a 10,000 stella. Want to be a good general all round for PNG, Popping, plastics, trolling etc etc

It is for a female fisho so that's the reasoning for a 10k for anyone about to say I would go a 20k

Budget is no limit.

+1 I bought one for up north, awesome rod, glad I got it. I had a 6000 gosa on it though, a 10,000 may be a bit heavy for it..

What are you running on your 10,000 ? PE 6? PE8 ? I know it's for a girl so that's why I ask

Put a 14,000 spool on the 10,000 and I like my temple reefs . Just depends on how heavy line rating you go !

If not carpenter endless passion

+1 for the kingmack, have my 10k stella on one running 50lb braid. Used it for school mackerel through to trolling for marlin and hoping for GTs in the future. Perfect all rounder that will cast, troll, pop and jig with lures up to 80g

If not carpenter :) endless passion[/

Why put a 14000 spool on?

The endless passions are all over 8ft and would easily cover the popping side of things, not versatile enough for the other fishing styles specified. And There is no chance unless she is very experienced in fighting big fish on heavy drags I'd put any of those rods in anyone's hands.

It's easy for everyone to just say carpenter cause everybody knows there expensive. But no ones even recommend a suitable model.

If you want a carpenter check the black currents particularly the 75mhs wayyyy more versatile than the endless passion. And a rod anybody will be able to fish with all day

Would recommend this one as well - have one myself running Hyper Certate 4000H with PE2.5 (45lb) braid and will do everything from casting slugs / poppers, trolling, live baiting, ballooning to bottom fishing. Light and pretty well indestructible rod running SiC's.
Rated 8-12kg, but fishes well above line rating - also 2 piece with join at end of top grip, so easy to transport for a 7 footer.
Also a very cost effective option cf some of the other recommendations.
I added a gimbal butt to mine so it will travel in the rocket launcher and sit well in the rod holders.

10000 stella

I just got in the new Phenix 3 piece blanks all 3 models and cant decide which i like most, 8ft 12-30, 7ft6 15-40, 7ft 20-50.Under load you wouldnt know they were 3 piece rods.20-50 now sold to a gent for a spiral wrapped travel boat rod.The 15-40 would stop most gt"s and still be perfect for most other fish, then again so would the 12-30.HMMMMM hard one.

Line capacity fella. I know a few people who run the 10 with a 14 spool, allows them to cross over from time to time. Say from GT's to sails , tuna .

He said budget was no issue , I also like 80H but it may be too heavey a rating for what they are looking for
