whats it worth?

I have a BSR 802 GLX 6-10lb in very good condition used 3 times in freshwater.

Just after some opinions on what would be a reasonable price to ask for if I decided to sell it? (not open to offers at this stage)

cheers

No probs when I see the flying pig it's all yours

I think I paid around $600 for it from a pricey local shop 16 months ago?

Thanks for the info Breambassin and Rooboy, I might leave it in the rack considering it's not worth as much as i thought.

cheers

Honestly mate I reckon $275
I've sold 4 glx rods in the last couple of years- sr, tsr and dsr.
They were in great condition.
$600 was a bit steep!

Mate honestly put on it what you think its worth, if someone wants it they will pay for it, if not you get to appreciate it a little bit longer

You will still get the people who low ball or try to bag prices but just ignore it, sell it for what you're happy to part with it for and no less!

That's pretty good advice, especially if your not in a desperate hurry to get the cash for a house reno(seen a bit of that lately!!!)
If you can handle the weirdos and lowballers pick your price and put it on gumtree, you might just find someone looking for that rod.

It's hard putting a price on hardly used gear, especially if its mint. I live rural too, so I know what it's like to pay a bit more for gear which then makes it harder to recuperate costs in the secondhand market.
Good luck with whatever you choose mate.
