Top water rod with some balls
Hi everyone, I'm after a rod that could comfortably cast 2-3 gram top water stick baits but have some serious power to extract big bream from cover/snags/racks, would b running a stradic 2500 on this rod! Thanks for advice!

These are all good options.
I'd also have a look at the Nordic Stage Areal Pros! Insane power for light rods and easily my favourite top water rod! |

Volkey Big Lake Custom 4-8lb is worth a look, quite stiff through the bottom to middle if you're happy with that, heaps of grunt

Abu Garcia Vanguard 7'3" 3-4kg! I have recently bought this rod and they are light as and have plenty of power down low. Will handle anything upto 8g!

A fantastic rod that's well priced and has major stopping power that I would recommend is the samaki k2 4-8lb. I use these rods to throw everything from top water, cranks, jerkbaits to plastics. This rod has all bases covered. Matched up with a 2500 size reel, you can not go wrong. (I'm not sponsored by these rods, I just like them)

Hey buddy, Howler make a 1-3kg bream finesse thats great for top water and cranks. Very light rod thats equiped with balls. I've heard there are you a few guys using them in Tas for running for top water and cranks next to snags and love them.
I'm currently saving up to get another!! Cheers, Voy |
