Leader to braid knot glue?

I know there was mention relatively recently about using some fly tying glue to finish leader knots to give a knot with no edges to go through the guides easier. The search function isn't quite being a friend here; can anyone shed any light on this concept?

I been previously using slim beauty...and now I uses only FG knot...both are strong and have slim profile. I never ever have to use glue...I told just super glue will do the trick.
