Better late than never...
Hi all, after browsing the forums for a little while now, I made my first post last night and you guys helped a stranger out nice and quickly. Thanks heaps!
Anyways, after an 8 year fishing hiatus I decided to pick up a rod again. Initially to chase the ellusive mythoway from the beaches of Mandurah, but after going for a quick flick in the Murray i soon found myself back chasing the bream... After having them worked out in the Canning all those years ago, I am slowly finding more and more. Being landbased is hard work around the Murray but there is still some good spots to be had. Hopefully one of them pays off soon, i dont think the missus will let me get a yak! Thanks for having me on board, and thanks again for the help last night. Hopefully I can get a decent fish to post up soon enough! ![]() DB |

There is some great shore spots along the murray mate. Also the flats out the front for some whiting or even over in town. Quick fish and a coffee is always good. Mandurah has many great light fishing options.

Haha wish i had somewhere to park a boat! I'm just a short walk to the foreshore and new marina. Been having a quick flick around there the last week or so.
Pulled a fair few bream on bait shore based in the Murray so far, biggest was 30.5cm. Just received a shipment of hb's and stocked up on some plastics so will be giving it a fair crack whenever i can.

Would love to live where you are. Endless fishing every day. The foreshore flats have some great surface fishing for whiting and salmon as well as all the bream spots.

Had a great fish on the murray today all on plastics. Most of the spots could be fished from shore as well. |

I was on Alex's boat, the metallic silver and red bass boat. We seen the dolphin. They came in from the estuary and swap past us at three rivers the we caught back up with them near north yundi and the swam in the wake back up the murray lakes. Defiantly limits the amount of water you can cover when your shore bound.

I was the big bloke wearing an old hi-vis work shirt if you saw anyone on the shore fishing. Saw a nice boat come past early near ravo bridge with a 90hp on it. The rest were blue but there was a few on the water this morning.

That would have been Pmac blue Javelin. Was the Peel anglers social fish so was about 10 boats plus a few yaks and then the local guys as well.
