Samaki K2 4-8lb 2 piece

Hey guys,
Just wanting to know if the samaki K2 7ft 4-8lb 2 piece has a fast or slower taper, and if it's a good light plastics rod or more suited to hardbodies? Desperate to know, thanks in advance!

G'day mate they're a great rod used to have one and thinking about getting another again.
Very versatile with a fast action, to me they were great for any light plastic or hardbody and I really loved it with 3 lb flouro.
I really love the kr guides and is the main reason I want another.
I use a samaki zrt and I am extremely happy with it and for half the retail the k2 isn't far behind it in performance just lower grade components.
The trouble is not many rods run kr guides hence why I'm wanting a k2 again to have a similar rod out on the water.
The tiny kr guides give the blank a very stiff feel due to the fast recovery, it's hard to pick up another rod and adjust to a different action but the action on these kr guided samaki's is beautiful.
Cheers matt

I'm what way mate?
Interested in actions as I was thinking a one piece would be a little slower in action?

your right it was awhile ago but from memory the 1 pce was a lot slower and lacked low down grunt.i'm a 1pce fan but not on these which is why it remains in my memory.
p.s i never owned either but tested both.
cheers nereus

I've been using that model K2 since they came out pretty much. Love them.

Fast action, light weight - but not feather light, Slim K's are pretty good for avoiding tangles but you'll never escape them completely.

Very happy with my pair of them!
