Phenix Elixir 701 Blanks

Hi guys I'm getting a couple of rods made by Howler and he said he is using a Phenix Elixir 701 Blank. I've heard that these are quite good but I was wondering what everybody thought of these?

By the way if anyone wants excellent customer service Damian at Howler Rods is unbelievable. If his rod building skills are half as good as what I've heard than I'll be one happy lad!!!!

Hey Buddy,

I have ordered 2 from him, should be coming in next week in time for the BETS round.

I'm pretty sure they will be sweet as, I currently have a Howler Bream Boss FRS and i love it!!

Cheers,
Voy

Hey Buddy,

The current Howler I have is the Bream Boss FRS series built on a St Croix blank rated at 2-4kg, total built weight is around 90grams. I have also played with a 2-5kg which absolutely love.

I will do a review once I've played with them if am allowed!

Cheers,
Voy

Sweet, will love to hear what you think of the 2-5, thinking of getting on myself.
