Majorcraft or Dobyns

I need some help guys, I'm looking at buying either the Majorcraft chornish or the Dobyns champions bait caster to match with my new Ci4 Chronarch. Between the two rods there is only $50 and very similar specs I love both rods but can't pick between them, which one is the better quality and for anyone who has either some feedback would be great. This rod will be my new Jack outfit.
Thanks guys

Dobyns for me. I think the Corkish is a little overrated from the MC stable.

I think you can't go wrong with either rod. Both bring quality componentry and blanks. Have you considered the Majorcraft Corzza or Volkey as well? Various models to choose from that may match up with what ya after.

Dobyns dobyns dobyns. If I could afford it I'd have nothing but dobyns rods. Not sure what weight you're looking at but I use an 8-17lb to cast anything down to 1/8 and up to 1oz for muscling bass and jacks through to barra, snapper and other solid reefies off shore. I also use my 6-12lb for bashing around in the yak chasing cod and bass and its copped a flogging the last 3 years and still performs like new even though its now an inch or so shorter

I knew you would say that haha, do you rate the "champion" I'm pretty sure it's the 10 to 17lb I was looking at

Haha I am a bit biased of course. And sure do! Knocked over a 20kg long tail on the 8-17lb champion spin stick, lapped it up haha.

That being said, I'm sure the major craft wouldn't disappoint either, I just love my dobyns and am happy to recommend them!

Ive got a chronarch ci4 matched up to a dobyns champion 10-17lb and its a awesome combo. Use it the most out of everything. Throes a 3/8 jighead and plastic a mile and is awesome for tansams and threadybusters as well

I have 3 champion extremes and if it were possible my whole quiver would Champ Extremes,my latest is a 701 with a T3 Air on it and it has to be the best ultra finesse set up available atm,I've had a play with and used a few of the Majorcraft rods and to be honest IMO they didnt come close to the Champ Extreme

Haha wouldn't be nice to have money and I would grab a "Champion Extreme" in a hart heat over the MC as I know their an awesome rod but I'm only looking at the "Champion" vs the MC
