Strongest lightweight trebles?

Hey guys,

So I am a bit of a treble noob, usually just use stock standard trebles and dont really buy many as hardbodies arn't my go to lures.

That said, I religiously use tiemco trick trout tiny cicada lures and their trebles are ultra light and bend easy.
I replace them with other trebles but if they are too big/bulky they pull the lure too far under the water, so I was just wondering what are the absolute strongest trebles for their weight/size that people use?

To put size into perspective, the lure runs 2 x trebles and the lure is 35mm in length.

Any help appreciated!

Cheers

If you can find the brand of trebles that are used on Duo Tetra range of lures, you will find they are the toughest, but needle sharp and light of any treble. So bad they snag easy, but penetrate and nick the fish on a simple touch.

Cheers guys, I have checked out the Y trebles before, and while for bream they are good, their gape is too small and I find they tear quite easy when using tighter drags with fish like perch and bass.

Eagle claw because if you get snagged you can get your lure back when they open up.

Hi George you need to take a look at the new Daiichi Death Trap trebles.
They are Black Nickel finer gauge than ST 36's but heavier than ST 11's.
They are as strong as, aswell. Will be available in sizes 4 to 14's.

They arrive in Oz next week!

Can you get gamakatsu wide gape trebles in size 14?
I use them in 10's for bass and 12's for trout. Ultra thin and very sharp.

Hi Pete,

No we will only be doing them in packs with 10 Hooks.
We used to sell the original 8110 Trebles in boxes of 100 but sales were very slow so we aren't offering these in bulk quantities.

Regards, Rick

That was going to be my suggestion too.

Great trebles and very underrated. They come in a variety of sizes!
