looking at getting 2 of these rods to match to a 2500 and 4000 reels

has anyone used them what do you think?

was thinking a 2-5kg and a 3-6 or maybe 5-10kg for the 4000

Hey mate, I've had a good look at them they are good rods, the heavier ones are just like the old tseries which I have the 5-8kg 701. Awesome offshore.
I can guarantee you the new 5-10kg 701 is the same rod, they've probably just realised how much of a beast this rod was and upped the rating!!
I'd go the 4000 on the 3-6kg, the 5-10kg would easily match a 6/8000 Shimano.
The 691 is a great all rounder for bream flatties etc with a 2500.

Nice rods mate you can't go wrong, they might be on the heavier side of modern rods but who cares when you're not finesse jigging a 1g plastic or 2g hardbody.
I'm avoiding buying one at this stage only because I don't need one!

Tackle warehouse has 20% off for a few days

Looking at getting 2 rods

Nitro distance spin and baby viper or 2 tk3gs in similar weights

Or the smiths look good

What do you guys think I don't mind the nitros shame they don't have k guides
